Rules

… I Love this song … I will see them here in Lisbon.

We know a place where no planes go
We know a place where no ships go

(Hey!) No cars go
(Hey!) No cars go
Where we know

We know a place no space ships go
We know a place where no subs go

(Hey!) No cars go
(Hey!) No cars go
Where we know

(Hey!)
(Hey!)
(Mom, Dad!)
(No go!)

(Hey!) Us kids know
(Hey!) No cars go
Where we know

Between the click of the light and the start of the dream [4x]

I don’t want any pushing, and I don’t want any shoving.
We’re gonna do this in an orderly

Manner. Women and children! Women and children! Women and children,
Let’s go! Old folks,

Today

June 26, 2007

… I started to write some things in English, because I want to practice and to not forget what I learn in the past semester in British Council.

In the mornings of last week, I went to a friend’s house, just to be with her, she’s ill. Because she sleeps most of the time, I had spare time, so I decided to start to study and practice my English, to review what I learned in British Council, specially the grammar.

So, I wrote what I studied in the last week, and I realized that it’s quiet simple and easy. This week I’ll continue doing the same: study, take some notes, do exercises.

Things

… that I found.

First, a wordpress blog with lots of video clips: Under My World. The owner is a very well organized person, much more than I. He’s got many more videos than my two blogs. In this moment I came across with an idea. From now I could use tags with name of the artists just to organize myself, because it is a simple way to find if I putted the video in a early post.

Second, while I was listening and hearing a video clip from the Swedish band The Knife (You Take my Breath Away), I read a comment, that the two singers are Karin Dreijer Andersson and Jenny Wilson. The former is the lead singer of The Knife, the latter is also a Swedish singer. Here are found some of they’re lyrics.

Karin Dreijer Andersson

Third, isn’t something I found, but something that I re-encounter (or re-found – I thought this word didn’t exist, but it seems that it is true), the Fujiya & Miyagi web site. It is interesting, because we can listen to their music, and also the bands name sounds a Japanese, but they’re a British band. We can find the web site address here.

A walk…

May 30, 2007

Yesterday I made a lot of exercise, my elder brother invited me to go whit him to do some exercise, were in Lisbon.

It was to ride bicycle. At the beginning it was hard, because I didn’t ride bike, for five or six years. I can do it easily, only in plane fields.

Lisbon has seven hills, so you can imagine, climb or even go down them. It’s hard and painful. It’s seems like that I took a walk with bike. When I arrived to Santa Apolónia, I started to ride slowly to adapt myself to it. After that, we, me and my brother, started the walk towards Parque das Nações.

Like I wrote, I had some problems with the walk, because I’m not used to the bike, and in the road were lots of cars and trucks passing by me, and I was afraid of them. But nevertheless I survived to tell that I can do it again. I didn’t fall and it was a fantastic jorney.

We saw, before Parque das Nações, a group of young folks, I think they were climbing a kind of big boxes. It seems that they trespassed the fences to be there. I didn’t matter, at that point I was interested only in came back to Santa Apolónia and if there wasn’t big trucks behind me.

When we arrived home I was exhausted, climb the hills with the bicycle was more or less like, bring it on my backs, and my button bones were ache. Now they’re hurting me, I’ve some difficulties to sit. My arms and my legs are fine, but I’ve some problems in walking. Probably tomorrow I’ll be fine, I hope so.
